Norvik Hospital is proud to welcome Dr. Mohan K. Puttaswamy to our team of reputed orthopaedic specialists. His background combines academic achievement, teaching experience and advanced surgical training at respected medical institutions.
Dr. Mohan graduated from Bangalore Medical College in 2001 before pursuing his MS in Orthopaedics at Madras Medical College, where he topped the university across Tamil Nadu and earned two gold medals.
He subsequently spent four years as Assistant and Associate Professor of Orthopaedics at PESIMSR, caring for trauma patients in a teaching hospital environment.
His further training took him to the United States, where he trained under Dr. Kenneth Krackow, a pioneer in uncemented total knee arthroplasty. He also completed fellowship training in paediatric orthopaedics at Massachusetts General Hospital through Harvard University.
Dr. Mohan has taught undergraduate and postgraduate medical students, presented at national and international conferences, and contributed to medical journal publications and textbook chapters. His experience includes primary and complex revision hip and knee replacement surgery.
